Warehouse Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee our inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, ensuring efficient logistics operations, and utilizing advanced warehouse management systems. This role is crucial for supporting our supply chain and materials management strategies while driving demand planning initiatives.

Duties

• Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available to meet customer demand.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and optimize storage solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify discrepancies in inventory records and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline the supply chain process and enhance distribution efficiency.
• Perform data mining to analyze inventory trends and forecast future stock requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms for purchasing materials and stock.
• Develop and implement effective demand planning strategies to minimize excess inventory while meeting customer needs.
• Train and supervise staff involved in inventory management processes, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• PO system management
• Vendor management

Qualifications

• Plumbing and/or HVAC trade company experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of stock control principles and materials management practices.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and data analysis tools.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.
• Familiarity with logistics operations and demand planning methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
