CHITIMACHA TRIBE OF LOUISIANA
TITLE OF POSITION: APPLICATIONS TRAINER
DEPARTMENT: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT
JOB SUMMARY: Performs analysis, testing, maintenance, and documentation of computer application software used by the Tribe. Is responsible for the ongoing training of staff related to the computer application software. Assists others and provides technical support and problem resolution for staff with computer application software.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Associate’s degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or related field AND at least three years of full-time experience supporting a training team for one or more software applications. Experience in creating training materials and participating in training analysis and training development is preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to successfully pass a background screening/investigation.
- Subject to pre-employment and random drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license is required when driving vehicles for work-related purposes.
