Your New Role
- Lead project safety, including holding safety meetings and ensuring compliance on-site.
- Understand and execute project drawings and specifications with precision.
- Plan the work, coordinating manpower and equipment with the general superintendent.
- Order and manage materials while maintaining accurate inventory.
- Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project managers to handle changing conditions.
- Track daily production quantities, labor hours, and other records.
- Build relationships with the Owner, Owner’s Representative, and the public, representing Chivers Construction professionally.
- Bring expertise in bridge construction, particularly small PennDOT bridges, with a goal to expand into longer spans.

Job requirements
- Valid driver’s license (Class A CDL preferred).
- Proven experience managing DOT work with PennDOT, particularly small bridge construction.
- Verifiable superintendent-level experience with longer bridge spans is a significant advantage.
- 6–10 years of experience in bridge construction or related industrial projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
