Job Summary
The Human Resource Generalist I, RMAP (Risk Mitigation Asset Protection) will ensure adherence of all RMAP employees to company policies and procedures. The HR Generalist will report to the Assistant Project Manager, RMAP and support the RMAP program with directly administering orientation and onboarding of new hires, training employees on policies & procedures and providing support for candidates and all employees at program level. This will be conducted in close coordination with the corporate HR Group.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Create and send offer letters
- Work with supervisors on annual reviews and assists with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Assists supervisors with disciplinary actions of existing employees.
- Support, consult, train and coach all levels of the management team regarding people-related laws, policies and programs.
- Assists in issues to help managers make informed decisions
- Supports supervisors manage leave requests.
- Work with recruiters to create position descriptions and staffing plans.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Conduct or acquire background checks, employee eligibility verifications, drug screens, and credit checks.
- Manage DOT and driver license expirations.
- Review and track mandatory and non-mandatory training and manage RMAP related certifications.
- Work with employees for personal growth and continuing education.
- Work with program managers for annual safety training, anti-harassment training
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including compensation, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Attend and documents disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Reviews RMAP payroll hours to ensure accuracy in support of the corporate HR Group’s payroll process.
- Accesses program related reports from HR resources as needed.
- Work closely with Chloeta’s corporate HR Group, Legal team, and Compliance team.
- Supports all RMAP managers and supervisors with HR related issues and escalates issues to the corporate HR Group as needed.

Education and Experience
- Required: High School Diploma and 3 years of experience OR Associates degree and 2 years of experience OR Bachelors degree and 1 year of experience
- Preferred: Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration or related course of study
- Preferred: SHRM-CP or PHR certification
