CHMC –Marketing- Ambassador – Per Diem- Day Shift – M, T, W, F 7 AM-3:30 PM Th. 11 AM-5 PM- Requisition 8474
Pay Range: $15.50-$19.39*
The Ambassador welcomes and assists patients, their families, and visitors entering the hospital. Employees working in this capacity answer questions provide information, and direct people to the hospital location they need, thus creating an atmosphere in the hospital that is caring, yet efficient. Shifts may vary, including weekends.

High school Diploma or Equivalent
TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude
Appropriate written and verbal communication skills, must possess positive customer service skills and professionally manage conflict
Strong team player and ability to work independently
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve
Must be flexible and open to change
Ethical understanding of patient processes, confidentiality and personal health information (PHI) data, and HIPAA
Knowledge of safe techniques and body mechanics for safe patient handling and transporting patients.
Preferred:
Experience in a medical environment
