Your Responsibilities
- Act as a point-of-contact and resource for SEO teammates, stakeholders, and engineering teams on assigned projects.
- Prepare and deliver technical SEO requirements to internal stakeholders, track project progress, analyze performance, and update project roadmaps for key initiatives.
- Plan, schedule, and facilitate discussions with IT stakeholders to gain clear understanding of technical requirements needed on various development projects.
- Seek to identify issues and risks - track and follow up for resolution; proactively communicate updates to business stakeholders with possible mitigation plans and solutions.
- Use various tools including but not limited to SEO tools (keyword tracking platforms, crawlers, ranking measurement, backlink analysis) and web analytics tools (IE: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.) to support compilation of data and develop recommendations.
- Develop content recommendations based on thorough keyword research and work closely with content stakeholders on SEO-related requests
- Collaborate with internal SEO team, SEO agency and wider business stakeholders (including Content, Web Analytics, SEM and Paid Media, Social) to execute enterprise initiatives and track performance
- Generate reports, trend data, and benchmark SEO initiatives to gain insights and measure progress against established goals.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of direct SEO experience in a competitive industry either agency or client-side
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Proficient in on-page SEO, technical SEO, and data analysis
- Experience in JavaScript SEO techniques and Local SEO a plus
Your Team
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Sr. Manager, SEO. You will have 4 peer teammates and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Sr. Analyst, SEO you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.
Right now, our associates in Scottsdale, AZ are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtually from your home office the remaining days. We provide flexibility and encourage ongoing communication with your leadership to establish expectations about your unique needs.
