Founded in 2021 in Saranac, MI, CHO has since opened an additional dispensary in Stanton, MI. Most recently, CHO is expanding in the cannabis industry with a new grow in Gaylord, MI as well as branching out to the state of Maryland. Here at CHO, we look for individuals who are highly motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills, are capable of learning about a new and ever-growing industry, and can work in a diverse and fast-paced work environment. Prior experience is preferred, but not required. The available position is for the Budtender role. This role includes learning CRA guidelines, front desk check-ins, assisting customers with product purchases, weighing flower, and continuing cannabis education. The ideal candidate for this role is someone driven to quickly learn, grow, and move through the ranks of the company. All training and continuing education will be provided by CHO. Responsibilities:
- Active listening with the customers, making sound recommendations based off their needs
- Ensure that all transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure that the dispensary is always clean, stocked, and well-organized.
- Educating customers on the safe use of cannabis.
- Correctly weigh, package, and label cannabis products.
- Check customers' identification documents to verify eligibility for entry.
- Technology Skills: Able to navigate and learn new technology and retail systems, equipment, and computer programs needed to fulfill communication, customer service, and business needs & expectations.
- Volunteer time in our award-winning community giveback and social equity events and programs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Utilize time, energy, and resources to stay on track and achieve goals.
- Multitask and pay strong attention to detail in a fast-paced & high-urgency environment.
- Complete tasks thoroughly in a timely manner.
