What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Finance Manager position at Chobani?
Summary
The Corporate Finance Manager is primarily responsible for managing Chobani’s equity cap tables and cash flow forecast. From an equity perspective, this position manages Chobani’s equity waterfall model, cap tables, and modeling for potential IPO scenarios. From a cash flow perspective, the Corporate Finance Manager leads monthly cash flow forecasting and will setup a working capital monthly review with the business team. In this role, the Corporate Finance Manager works closely with Supply Chain Finance, FP&A, Transformation, HR, Legal, and Tax.
Responsibilities
- The responsibilities of this position include:
- Own and update equity waterfall model and equity cap tables on a quarterly basis or as needed and coordinate with HR/Legal on new equity grants and equity buybacks
- Lead quarterly equity valuation with 3rd party valuation firm
- Manage HOOPP’s preferred threshold model
- Evaluate and model impact to equity ownership from various strategic alternatives including IPO
- Lead credit metric forecasting including leverage implications for various strategic actions, collect peer data, recommend leverage targets, prepare presentation slides for Lender Calls and Rating Agencies
- Lead cash flow forecast modelling, including scenario analysis around capex and tax distributions; prepare slides for CFO and President
- Manage “Available Cash” approvals for Board and quarterly tax distributions
- Prepare cash interest forecast and P&L interest expense forecast
- Review Australia’s monthly cash flow forecast and ensure consistency to P&L forecast
- Establish reporting for, and monitoring of, working capital metrics for Chobani US; lead monthly working capital review with Mexico to reduce intercompany balances creating FX exposure
- Provide support to Assistant Treasurer and Treasury team including back-up for preparing the rolling weekly receipts and disbursements forecast, approval of wires, support on financing transactions and other potential projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, finance or accounting required; MBA or CFA preferred
- 5-8 years of heavy financial modeling in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Corporate Finance / Strategy required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Exposure to consumer-packaged goods industry preferred
- Knowledge of accounting principles and SAP a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization with both internal and external business partners
- Team player, willing to wear multiple hats to get the job done
- Attention to detail while managing competing priorities and tight timelines
- Adaptable and flexible in a complex, changing environment

Compensation Range: $115,000.00 - $172,000.00, plus bonus.
