Job Summary
The Clinical Staff Educator, in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Specialist and unit management, is responsible for staff development as an educator, consultant, facilitator, change agent, leader and researcher. This is accomplished by the facilitation of the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of competency assessment, continuing education and leadership development incorporating adult learning theory and age appropriate guidelines.
Pay Range
Minimum $54.49 Midpoint $72.19 Maximum $89.90
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
- Required : Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in an area of specialty. One (1) year of mentoring / teaching experience.
- Preferred : Two (2) years of clinical education experience within the specialty area.
