CHOC Specialists is a private pediatric subspecialty group with 26 pediatric subspecialties. The group practices at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) which is a premier healthcare system based in Orange County, Calif. CHOC is exclusively committed to the health and well-being of children through clinical expertise, advocacy, outreach and research that brings advanced treatment to pediatric patients.
The CHOC Children’s Specialists is seeking a per diem Pediatric Hospitalist to join our well-established team at Pomona Valley Medical Center. Candidates must have a CA Medical License and be board certified/board eligible in Pediatrics. Completion of a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine is not required. However, post-residency experience in inpatient pediatric care is preferred. We are seeking bright, independent physicians who enjoy a career in pediatric hospital medicine, resident teaching and have the desire to contribute to enhancing the quality of care for children in a community hospital setting. Hospitalists will provide weekend day coverage and night call from home.

Affiliated with the University of California, Irvine, CHOC’s regional healthcare network includes two state-of-the-art hospitals in Orange and Mission Viejo, several primary and specialty care clinics, a pediatric residency program, and four centers of excellence - The CHOC Children’s Heart, Neuroscience, Orthopaedic and Hyundai Cancer Institute. This position will be at Pomona Valley Hospital where our physicians also provide Hospitalist coverage. Pomona Valley has recently opened a new Pediatric Unit and is excited to continue to serve its community.
