Job Summary
The Project Manager III - ISD applies advanced technical and clinical project management frameworks, methods and techniques to manage and lead multiple concurrent projects of broad and diverse scope, size, impact, budget and / or project team size, with considerable impact to the organization
The Project Manager III oversees the management of all phases of multiple projects in parallel with minimal guidance from senior staff. They apply knowledge of business and applications to recommend solutions. They are accountable for the success of multiple parallel system implementations, repairs, process improvements, and overall project benefits realization. Project Manager III function as a key point of user contact and customer service for their active projects and are accountable for user satisfaction, dealing with senior operational leaders. They help to develop project management methodologies and procedures as well as help to educate individuals both in and outside the department as it relates to IT and services. They prepare analytical reports and are expected to evaluate project successes and issues and make recommendations to IT and operational leadership
Pay Range
Minimum $107,931 Midpoint $143,000 Maximum $178,069
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience
- Required: Minimum seven (7) years of Project Management experience. At least three (3) years of Healthcare Information Systems experience.
- Preferred: Over two (2) years of supervisory experience with IT personnel. Four (4) Healthcare Information System Implementation experience.
- Required: Bachelor's degree.
- Preferred: Master's degree.
- Required: None required.
- Required: Proficient with Visio and MS Office suite of tools; Highly self-sufficient and able to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to mentor CHOC associates on project management tools and techniques; leads by example and promotes teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission; understands and strives to exceed customer expectations. Ability to provide management, leadership and oversight for programs and projects. Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and senior management. Ability to ensure execution and compliance of processes, methods and tools. Ability to develop and deliver key documents. Strong knowledge of Project Management Best Practices within the IT PMO. Personal effectiveness skills, such as time management and setting and achieving goals. Ability to initiate, engage and maintain stakeholder relationships. Ability to manage change and take active leadership in timely decision making. Ability to effectively present at dept./forum meetings.
- Required: Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential or equivalent combination of education and relevant project management experience can be accepted in lieu of Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential.
