Pay Range
Minimum $35.12 Midpoint $46.53 Maximum $57.94
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Education/Licensure
Medium - High energy level Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Push/pull /- 150-200 lbs. (Patients on bed, stretcher) Lateral transfer 150-200 lbs. (ie. Patient) .

Pay Range

Education/Licensure
- Recent graduate (within 12 months) of an accredited two-year Respiratory Therapy Program.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science/Arts degree.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License - CA (must be active at time of application)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Preferred: Neonatal Pediatric Specialty (NPS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider - Essentials (NRP), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Knowledge of and ability to provide appropriate patient care depending upon age specific, cultural diversity, and spiritual needs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and complete duties in a time efficient and organized manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively and in coordination with others. Ability to complete accurate documentation in the patient EMR.
- Ability to perform work according to CHOC policies and procedures, professional standards of care, and applicable laws.
- Ability to set goals and review results in accordance with the highest standards of excellence.
- Ability to deliver care with sensitivity and respect and advance practice through development of new ideas and technology.
- Ability to promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission and exceed customer expectations.
