Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Gastroenterology

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our General Gastroenterology Division, providing patient-centered care in outpatient settings.
The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate, diagnose, and develop comprehensive care plans for children with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions. Mentorship and supervision will be provided by experienced pediatric gastroenterologists with expertise across the spectrum of GI disorders, including eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE).
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate individualized care plans for pediatric patients with general GI conditions.
Provide follow-up care, education, and support to patients and their families in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Participate in innovative care delivery approaches, including integration with specialized programs like CHOC’s renowned Eosinophilic Esophagitis Clinic.
Qualifications:
Current California licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
Minimum of two years of experience in direct patient care.
Experience in pediatrics is required, and gastroenterology experience is desired.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a commitment to providing exceptional, compassionate care.
