CHOC Children’s Hospital, now part of Rady Children's Health, invites applications for the position of Division Chief & Clinical Director of the Thompson Autism and Neurodevelopmental Center (TANC). This leadership role provides an exceptional opportunity for an experienced physician to guide the clinical, research, and educational mission of the Division of Neurodevelopmental Medicine at CHOC.
About the Division:TANC is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders through comprehensive clinical services, education, professional training, and research. The Division of Neurodevelopmental Medicine serves as a multidisciplinary practice within the Pediatric Specialty Foundation (PSF), bringing together specialists to provide coordinated, high-quality care.
Key Leadership Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Division's clinical, academic, and research initiatives.
Collaborate with CHOC and PSF leadership to implement clinical programs and drive quality improvement efforts.
Mentor and develop faculty, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices in patient care.
Develop and oversee multidisciplinary programs that enhance the delivery of neurodevelopmental services.
Represent the Division at internal and external meetings, contributing to institutional strategy and growth.
Qualifications:
Board Certification/Eligibility in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, or Pediatric Neurology, with certification required within three years of hire.
California Medical License (or eligibility for licensure).
Demonstrated experience in leadership, strategic planning, and program development within an academic or clinical setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
