Neurology – Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)

We are seeking an experienced physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP) for our CHOC Neurology team. This position will function as an advanced practitioner role in partnership with CHOC neurologists and multi-disciplinary staff within a family-centered care environment.
Practicing within developed Standardized Procedures and Process Protocols, the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) plans, implements, and evaluates the plan of care.
The successful candidate will be eligible for either a CA Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and have at least three years of experience in Neurology patient care and comfortable with common neurology procedures. Prior experience treating Epilepsy patients is strongly preferred. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. This is a full-time position with no night or weekend coverage expected.
