Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee our restaurant's operations and ensure a superior guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven track record in restaurant management. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming environment while managing staff and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage front-of-house staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Implement training development programs to enhance staff skills in hospitality management and food service.
  • Manage the Toast POS system for efficient order processing and payment handling.
  • Coordinate group dinning services and special events to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food management and preparation.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager or shift manager in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Chinese cruise or Hot Pot restaurant experience are a plus.
  • Knowledge of bartending practices and food preparation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively.
  • Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain composure under pressure.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Relevant certifications in food safety or hospitality management are a plus.
  • Week 50 hours a week with some late night shift past midnight
