Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee our restaurant's operations and ensure a superior guest experience. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage front-of-house staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Implement training development programs to enhance staff skills in hospitality management and food service.
- Manage the Toast POS system for efficient order processing and payment handling.
- Coordinate group dinning services and special events to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food management and preparation.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager or shift manager in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Chinese cruise or Hot Pot restaurant experience are a plus.
- Knowledge of bartending practices and food preparation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain composure under pressure.
- A passion for the hospitality industry with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Relevant certifications in food safety or hospitality management are a plus.
- Week 50 hours a week with some late night shift past midnight
