The Role
As a Seasonal Delivery Driver, you will play a key role in helping us bring our mission to life by delivering our super-premium ice cream directly to our customers during peak ice cream season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, wrapping, and delivering ice cream throughout the state of Wisconsin and greater Midwest.
Routes change daily, and explore a wealth of great areas in the Midwest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload product from vans manually.
- Transport and deliver ice cream and supplies to customers.
- Ensure route accuracy and timeliness of deliveries.
- Perform vehicle inspections and cleaning to ensure safety.
- Provide excellent customer service as the friendly face of our ice cream business.
- Ensure and follow all road and Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream safety guidelines.
- Follows direction to accurately fulfill orders when delivering to our vendors.
- Assist loading the delivery vans of your colleagues, as needed.
About You
We’re looking for individuals who:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have punctual, predictable, and reliable attendance
- Are cooperative and able to take direction
- Are customer service driven
- Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Possess valid Driver’s License
Have a clean driving record (No convictions for the following offenses, in any vehicle, in the last seven years):
- Driving under the influence of alcohol (.04 or greater alcohol concentration or refusing to test)
- Driving under the influence of a controlled substance
- Leaving the scene of an accident
- Reckless driving
- A moving violation in connection with a fatal accident
- Eluding a police officer
- Operated a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license
Previous experience with deliveries is a plus, but your attitude and alignment with our values matter most.
