As a Bilingual Human Resources Assistant, you will play a key role in helping us bring our mission to life by supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in human resources while supporting the growth of a dynamic and growing local company!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Department managers with translation of meetings, memos, SOP’s, interviews, etc. from English to Spanish
- Assist with new employee onboarding to integrate new employees into the company culture and ensure a smooth transition
- Assist with company work structure by updating job descriptions and org chart
- Respond to employment verification requests
- Assist with maintaining employee records, updating databases, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations
- Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and recognition programs
- Provide general assistance to the HR team, including maintaining office supplies, filing, preparing reports, and handling day-to-day HR inquiries
- Assist with reviewing and updating company policies, trainings, and handbook as needed
We’re looking for individuals who:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Are fluent in verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish
- Are willing to learn and engage with problem solving
- Are passionate about helping others
- Have punctual, predictable, and reliable attendance
- Are cooperative and able to take direction
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Are proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and email
- Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Previous experience in HR is a plus, but your attitude and alignment with our values matter most.
