**Job Description:**
You will be responsible for providing personalized financial counseling to transitioning Soldiers and their families, leading financial planning workshops, and addressing complex financial issues. Your expertise will help Service Members and their families navigate the challenges of transitioning to civilian life.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide personalized financial counseling to transitioning Soldiers and their families, enabling them to evaluate income, expenditures, and create actionable financial goals
* Lead financial planning workshops for groups of approximately fifty (50) Soldiers and Family Members, covering topics such as budgeting, debt management, insurance, and investing
* Address complex financial issues such as relocation, asset allocation, retirement, and debt management, coordinating solutions with military and civilian agencies
* Prepare monthly reports detailing financial planning activities, workshop attendance, and individual counseling sessions
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in accounting, finance, or a related field
* Combination of education and experience amounting to 1,000 hours of experience in financial counseling
* Possess and maintain a nationally recognized and accredited Financial Counselor Certification in accordance with DoDI 1342
* Proven experience in financial counseling, with the ability to manage client caseloads and conduct both group workshops and one-on-one sessions, either face-to-face or virtually
