About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Heating and Air Conditioning Systems Specialist to join our Facilities Management team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing building mechanical equipment and components while ensuring HVAC and refrigeration systems operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC-R) systems.
- Inspect, install, and service mechanical equipment, including compressors, condensers, pumps, valves, and ventilation units.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with building codes.
- Work with building automation systems and provide support for food service equipment repairs.
- Source and procure tools, parts, and equipment as needed for projects and repairs.
- Adjust and install gauges, thermostats, controllers, pressure regulators, and other HVAC system components.
- Share expertise and provide training to team members to enhance skillsets.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years working as a part of a light/heavy commercial construction or service team performing service, repair and installation of mechanical systems and components.
- HVAC Class B/Limited Journeyman License or verifiable documentation of mechanical experience in states that do not require licensing.
- EPA I & II or Universal License and HVAC Certification.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
