What are the responsibilities and job description for the Casino Gaming Inventory Specialist position at Choctaw Nation?
Job Purpose or Objective(s): Help ensure inventories are accurate and audits are correct to prevent fraud and protect company assets. You will report to the Retail Inventory Analyst/Gift Shop Manager.
Pay Rate: $17.98/Hr | Full-Time | Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM
This Position Requires Testing prior to interview
Primary Tasks:
1. Input data for all incoming products into the inventory control system.
2. Develop procedures to maintain inventory accountability and integrity.
3. Help with inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
4. Prepare required reports on cycle count activities, discrepancies, and shrinkage.
5. Coordinate activities and proper handling of damaged and defective merchandise.
6. Identify and report on inventory adjustments.
7. Conduct assessments of current processes to help evaluate current efficiency and variances while identifying improvement opportunities.
8. Schedule and conduct physical inventory count of all stock and supplies.
9. Identify, analyze, and address gaps in inventory processes.
10. Analyze root cause(s) of inventory-related issues and recommend resolution.
11. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
A High School Diploma or GED required.
Ten key and Keyboarding proficiency required (60-70 WPM).
Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and Word required.
1 year previous retail, inventory, purchasing or stock experience.
