Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Change Management Specialist I is responsible for supporting change management activities for low-level IT projects and for providing documentation, scheduling and organizational support to senior Change Management Specialists. Focusing on the people side of change, this position must demonstrate a mastery of people relationships and change management principles.
Primary Tasks:
Conduct change impact and readiness assessments to identify key changes or readiness gaps that will impact the organization
Focuses on people relations and developing strong working relationships with all departments making you a trusted partner
Support the Change Management and project teams to develop stakeholder outreach and engagement efforts to obtain awareness, understanding, and buy-in
Prepare communication materials including presentations and written communications identified within the communication plan. Able to prepare ad hoc communication material as needed
Develop and execute change management activities to minimize risks of the transition that may disrupt the business
Track planning, execution, and impact of multiple change efforts across the organization
Participate in the creation and maintenance of all program-related training materials, approach, training schedule development, training metrics and measurement approach, training environment management
Support the development of strategies and detailed plans to ensure end user adoption of new tools and business processes related to enterprise wide changes, and the ability to understand and undertake work across divisions on enterprise projects
Support Senior Change Management Specialists on High-level Change Initiatives.
Perform other duties that may be assigned
MINIMUM
2 years’ experience in IT related tasks and/or projects
Ability to attain Prosci Change Management Certification within 90 days
Excellent in communications, training and support, plus employee engagement
Proven ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization
Strong project planning, organizing, communication, and team motivation
Strong consulting skills with the ability to influence others
2 years' experience in Customer Services, Learning and Development or Public Relations
Experience with Cultural Change mindset in an organization
TARGET
Bachelor’s Degree in Organization Development, Information Technology or related field
Ability to attain Prosci Change Management Certification within 90 days
Expert in communications, training and support, plus employee engagement
Experience working with employees at all levels
Expert at project planning, organizing, communication, and team motivation
Excellent consulting skills with the ability to influence others
1 years' experience in Change Management
Proven experience in Cultural Change
