Choctaw Landing Environmental Services Supervisor Full Time

Overview

Assist the Shift Manger in the management of all activities of the Environmental Services department. Willing to work with the employees by engaging in cleaning and/or maintaining all areas of the facility. Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks and assignments. Will oversee, train, and take responsibility for assigned area(s). Direct report to Shift Manager. It is the primary responsibility of the EVS Shift Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of the Environmental Services department, and to ensure all assigned duties/functions are performed in accordance with established guidelines/procedures.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the direction and supervision of the Environmental Services Staff.

2. Issue cleaning supplies to associates.

3. Ensure adequate supplies by tracking inventory and supply stock on hand to identify when low and notify management when an order needs to be placed.

4. Manage inventory/security of supplies.

5. Train, schedule, audit and inspect work of subordinates to ensure standards are met.

6. Review invoices to ensure accurate items for inventory received.

7. Implement corrective/preventative actions and coach associates based on SOP and if further action is needed they complete the documentation and communicate with the Shift Manager and/or EVS Manager.

8. Respond and resolve emergency facility needs/issues involving safety/security/business requirements.

9. Address and resolve customer/associate/management concerns.

10. Other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

· A strong background in the use of housekeeping/cleaning equipment and knowledge of chemicals as it relates to MSDS

· Understand government public health and, or safety regulations/requirements

· Prior Environmental Services, Housekeeping and/or Maintenance experience preferred

· Computer skills to include: Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet.

· 6 months prior experience in the use of housekeeping/cleaning equipment and knowledge of chemicals as it relates to MSDS

· One year prior Environmental Services, Housekeeping and/or Maintenance supervisory experience
