What are the responsibilities and job description for the Choctaw Landing Full Time Restaurant Server position at Choctaw Nation?
Overview
Responsible for serving food and drinks in a courteous and efficient manner ensuring a positive dining experience.
Duties
1. Serve food and drink items and ensure proper temperature.
2. Answer questions posed by patrons including basic ingredients in food to help identify any possible allergy issues should a guest ask.
3. Pre-bus/bus tables to ensure the table is available for the next guest.
4. Communicate with wait staff, managers, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors and kitchen staff in order to improve communication and coordination so that patrons may be impressed by their dining experience.
5. Promote current casino events and programs and can give guests directions to all casino areas.
6. Perform regular closing duties, including side work, set up, maintaining station cleanliness and end of shift tasks.
7. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
· ABLE Certification
· Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
· Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory
· Ability to focus attention to details, speed, and accuracy on all room service trays
Strong team work skills are required to allow for overall success and enjoyment of the guest
