Description
Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will conduct low to mid-level risk investigations for employment matters, including the interpretation of policies and procedures. You will ensure fair and impartial conclusions to bring resolution for all parties involved. You will report to the Employee Relations Manager.
Pay Rate: $61,000.00 Annual Salary
Primary Tasks:
You will manage and conduct investigations of low to mid-level risk, workplace cases to include fraud, theft, harassment, retaliation received through employee ethics reporting site.
You will collect and perform analysis of employment-related data to support investigation or appeal outcomes. Manage information from CNO support technologies.
You will prepare comprehensive investigation reports with findings to include evaluation of any process gaps or practices that create legal risk to reduce organizational liability.
You will maintain accurate, confidential records regarding investigations within ethics reporting system.
You will communicate with ER Manager and Sr. Director of ER status of investigations.
You will collaborate/partner with Human Resources to facilitate resolution of complaints.
You will support other Employee Relations investigators in times of high-volume caseload.
You will participate in projects performed by the Employee Relations department.
You will perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
Working knowledge of federal, state and tribal employment laws and regulations and other important HR strategic practices.
Protect confidentiality and personal privacy while handling sensitive documents and records.
Ability to build trust-based relationships at all levels.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience managing complex employee-relation situations, conducting investigations
3 years relevant experience.
