Job Overview
Assists staff to ensure that guests have a favorable dining experience.
Duties
1. Operate cash register, receive payment for meals, and issue receipt or ticket to customer.
2. Greeting customers in a pleasant and polite manner
3. Pre-bus and/or full bus tables when necessary, during peak periods.
4. Clean and clear all surfaces on tables and chairs upon guest departure to ensure tables are ready for the next guest.
5. Ensure the dining room, lobby and service areas are clean, stocked and visually appealing, keep the floor area clean and free of debris.
6. Re-stocking dining room tables, service stations, & condiment stations in accordance with established standards.
7. Stock and restock all service stations.
8. Assist other restaurant personnel with food running and other tasks when necessary.
9. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Experience
· Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
· Ability to calculate basic math functions as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory
· Works well independently and cooperatively in a team environment
· Good communication skills
· Two (2) years previous experience in a fast paced, high volume quick serve or casual restaurant
