What are the responsibilities and job description for the Labor Analyst position at Choctaw Nation?
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Labor Analyst is responsible to design, and update the Workforce Planning platform to provide ongoing improvement ensuring partners can manage their businesses by delivering real-time data to support multiple departments with volume-based labor. You will report to the Workforce Management Director.
Primary Tasks:
1. You will perform analysis of current performance (noting recent historical trends) and conduct real-time re-forecasting to make necessary adjustments in staffing plans.
2. Develop partnership and communicate with Operations teams to coordinate needed staffing adjustments based on current and forecasted results to achieve service level goals/our goals.
3. Create staffing schedules ensuring data updates into scheduling system.
4. Produce short- and long-term staffing models and provide recommendations based on analyses of recent trends, successes, forecasts, and other measurements.
5. You will compare results to forecast and identify opportunities for improvement with the purpose of optimizing resources to achieve our goals.
6. Implement relevant findings into long-term forecasting models.
7. Forecast data to protect the customer experience.
8. Produce ad hoc reports.
9. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or relevant technical certification or two [2] years of directly related experience in lieu of education
- Must have three [3] years of experience working with Virtual Roster
- Must have analytical and technical skills skills.
- Be both as a team player and an independent operator.
- Must be accountable for performance.
- Great with all levels of organizational customers and team members.
