Beverage Service Associate Job Description
As a Beverage Service Associate at Pearl River Resort Associates, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to our customers in an assigned service station. This role requires a high level of efficiency, promptness, and courtesy in providing beverage service according to company policies and standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
- Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous beverage service to customers in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain a neat and clean bar station on a continual basis.
- Monitor customer needs and ensure all beverage requests are promptly fulfilled.
- Manage the cash bank for the outlet assigned, utilizing the established POS system.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with the Beverage Manager, Beverage Shift Supervisors, Food and Beverages Leaders, and other co-workers to ensure a smoothly run operation.
- Receive, issue, and keep records of liquor store and supplies.
- Assist other beverage personnel with maintenance tasks as necessary.
- Follow CARE guidelines when serving alcohol to guests.
This role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to pass the Basic Math Test with 84.5% and obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission. Additionally, you must be Serv-Safe certified or certifiable within 180 days and C.A.R.E. certified before starting work.
Qualification Requirements:
- Age: 21 years of age or above.
- Education: High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience: One year of previous bartending experience preferred or attendance at the Pearl River Resort Bartending School.
- Testing: Must pass the Basic Math Test with 84.5% and complete required testing for this position.
Special Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
- Must be Serv-Safe certified or certifiable within 180 days.
- Must be C.A.R.E. certified before starting work.
