Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting fruits and vegetable to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with loading and unloading products.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including manual transmission options when necessary.
- Load and unload products at various locations, ensuring proper handling techniques are used for heavy lifting.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient movement of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking and confirming receipt of items.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability before each delivery shift.
Skills
- Experience with moving heavy items and performing manual labor tasks.
- Proficiency in operating a manual transmission vehicle is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and courier services is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills to enhance client interactions during deliveries.
- Ability to load and unload products efficiently using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar machinery is advantageous but not required.
