What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Manager position at Choice 1 temps?
This busy company is looking to hire for their Logistics Associate position for 1st shift. As our Logistics Associate on the first shift you will be responsible for the movement of material between warehouses, accurately make the appropriate transactions in the MRP systems, restock floor Kanban, retrieve material requested by Warehouse Lead or operators, maintain cleanliness in warehouse areas and generally service the needs of operations as directed by supervision. Logistics personnel must be able to obtain a valid forklift operator license and be able to safely operate a forklift. The person would be responsible for the following: Operate forklifts in a safe manner Communicate with Warehouse Lead and operations to identify raw material needs for production Retrieve and return raw material to the warehouse Accurately transact raw material, on MRP system, to ensure inventory accuracy Replace material in the warehouse in an organized manner Practice consolidation methods and FIFO (First In First Out) Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouseCommunication Systems We Use: Familiar with operating systems, such as Gmail and Smartviews, etc. Working knowledge of Visual and RF Plus preferred Knowledge of label printers/fax/scanners Resume, Drug test and Background Check are all requiredThis is a Temp-Perm position.
