Part Time Baggage Services Agent
Location: Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
Job Description:
To provide all necessary help and support to passengers as required by our customer airlines which may include baggage processing, handle customer complaints and lost luggage and other duties as assigned such as driving the baggage carts to and from the aircraft and loading & unloading the aircraft.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Ticket Counter and Gate with placing luggage on the conveyors and moving luggage down the jetway
- Operate tugs transporting baggage carts to and from the aircraft
- Load and unload customer luggage from the aircraft for arriving and departing aircrafts
- Comply with all airline legislation, as well as, airport authority and carrier security requirements
- Comply with Customer’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Operate baggage conveyors in Bagrooms and airline specific software
- Protect customer luggage from theft, loss and damage
- Produce work-related documentation when required
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and security at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid Driver’s License and proper work authorization. Ability to work multiple shifts including weekends (i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and holidays. Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
Must have the ability to lift up to 70lbs and be willing to work in inclement weather when required.
Must be passionate about Customer Service.
All of the above functions are normally performed within certain narrow time constraints, which are usually dictated upon the actual arrival of an aircraft and its scheduled departure. The failure to perform these functions may result in passenger inconvenience caused by lost or damaged bags, delayed aircraft departure and passenger and employee safety. The failure to perform these functions properly may result in serious injury to employees, damaged ground equipment and/or aircraft.
