Choice Builders, an award-winning custom home builder, is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to join our team in Cedar City, Utah. Responsibilities

• Be the on-site leader, overseeing all aspects of residential construction projects, from planning to client handover.
• Maintain the project schedule keeping all stakeholders informed of milestones and overall progress
• Schedule inspections and ensure all relevant documentation is in order.
• Visit every assigned job site daily and maintain accurate daily job logs..
• Mastermind project execution, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and adherence to our high-quality standards
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners to ensure seamless communication and project flow.
• Champion a safe work environment and maintain a clean, organized job site.
• Partner with Team Members on tasks such as bill approval and issuing appropriate purchase orders.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Allocate resources effectively for assigned projects.
• Manage daily trade scheduling and provide oversight to trades.
• Direct trades to ensure timely completion of projects with a high level of quality.
• Ensure that workmanship adheres to approved plans, specifications, client selections, and company standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent experience in construction field management.
• Must be highly organized and driven for success
• Exemplify our Core Values: Honesty, Integrity, Service, Results, and Personal Growth.
• Preferably locally established with strong trade references, or willing to relocate to Cedar City, Utah.
• Effective communicator who treats all individuals with dignity and respect.
• Personable, with strong customer service skills.
• Proven experience in trade management.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Technical understanding of residential construction, including building codes, trade sequencing, and best building practices.
• Ability to gather information, prepare reports and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Buildertrend a plus.
• Practiced technology integration in daily work.
• Clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
