Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical capabilities, including strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to assessment results, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients’ physical function and overall quality of life.
- Apply a variety of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment protocols, exercises, and strategies for injury prevention and physical wellness.
- Continuously monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal results.
- Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and current patient records in compliance with all regulatory and clinic standards.
- Stay informed about advancements in physical therapy by engaging in ongoing education and professional development activities.
- Strong clinical proficiency in physical therapy.
- Advanced training in human biomechanics/functional rehabilitation is preferred.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Current CPR certification is required; additional specialty certifications (e.g., Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Manual Therapy) are advantageous.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Colorado.
- Previous experience in an outpatient setting is encouraged, though new graduates are welcome to apply.
