Summary
As a Direct Support Professional at Choice Connections Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting the daily living needs of our clients. This position is for the sole purpose of enabling our individuals to have a person centered life. Not a staff centered life when you are on the job.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Follow individualized care plans.
- Work your scheduled shifts.
- Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and care provided.
Qualifications
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable, but can be taken after hiring.
- Medication training a plus but may be taken after hiring.
- Ability to pass a background check,
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening randomly.
