Quality Control Technician needed for 2nd Shift
This position is responsible for first and last piece inspection of parts to ensure that all products manufactured meet customer specification. (Must be at least 18 and be able to pass a drug screen.)
Hours are Monday - Thursday 3:30pm until 2:00am
Essential Functions:
- First piece inspections.
- Last piece inspections.
- Audits of the manual and progressive departments.
- First articles on new parts or revision changes on parts.
- Checking trucks – back up other QC Inspectors as needed.
- Trouble shooting of any issues that we have had with parts or material.
- Filing used check sheets into Material Review files or any other filing that needs to be done.
- Generate tags through Aeros for production.
- File all check sheets from production of historical purposes.
- File and distribute Quality Plan revisions.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and visually inspect parts produced.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and reach with hands and arms.
- Physical strength sufficient to lift and carry up to 20 pounds frequently.
- Ability to read basic measurement tools (tape, caliper, micrometer, protractor).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
