Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager with a proven track record in managing economy brand hotels to lead our newly converted Choice Hotels property from Motel 6.
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and driving profitability while maintaining our commitment to delivering cost-effective,
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the Hotel, business, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and efficiency.
- Manage budgets, financial reports, and operational expenses to maintain cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor and improve customer service, addressing concerns and feedback professionally.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, ensuring high employee morale.
- Collaborate with other departments, vendors, and stakeholders to support company goals.
- Implement process improvements and optimize workflows for better operational success.
- Handle hiring, scheduling, and performance management of employees.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a General Manager in an economy brand hotel (Motel 6, Super 8, Econo Lodge, etc.)
- Knowledge of ADP payroll systems, PMS (Property Management Systems), and hotel software is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Choice Hotels Economy brand standards.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
