Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Transformation Strategy Manager for Choice Privileges, our award-winning Loyalty Program. The position is in the Loyalty Strategy team who has three key focus areas: 1) owning and managing the day-to-day operations the Choice Privileges program; 2) Building and driving the marketing and experience of the program both internally and externally with our customers; and, 3) Building and implementing the long term strategy to drive the growth and evolution of the program for our members and franchisees.
As a key member of the Loyalty team, this role is instrumental in driving and delivering the long-term growth strategy for the program. It will interact with leaders across Choice including IT, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Digital, and Franchisee Relations to name a few. Your Responsibilities
- Leading cross-functional teams to shape and develop strategic initiatives for the Choice Privileges program
- Collaborate with key leaders across Choice to prioritize and implement a long-term strategy that delivers value for key stakeholders – Customers, Franchisees, and Choice
- Identify and manage key issues or risks to program delivery, engaging and working with senior management across the enterprise to drive alignment, secure support, and drive resolution.
- Work across Choice to identify opportunities to improve the customer and franchisee experience with Choice Privileges
- Identify and champion opportunities to drive member experience across the customer journey above property (i.e., on digital channels) and on-property (i.e., at check-in)
- Collaborate with teams to develop and deliver analyses, business cases, and reporting to support initiatives, growth, and project success.
- Engage with disciplines across Choice to learn their business, how Loyalty and the Choice Privileges program supports their goals (and vice versa), and how the two can work together to drive mutual success.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree required, preference for Hospitality Management, Business, Strategy, Marketing, Finance or equivalent experience preferred but not required. Master’s degree in a related field preferred but not required
- At least 5 years’ experience in consulting, strategy, strategic finance, transformation, or loyalty-related role, preferably in the hotel/hospitality or travel industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver against competing priorities, experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrates key competencies for the role, including being action-oriented, cultivating innovation, and driving engagement.

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Senior Director, Loyalty Strategy You will have 5 peer teammates and collaborate with cross-functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Loyalty Transformation Strategy Manager, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000 annually. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on the terms of Choice's Management Incentive Plan (MIP).
The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
