The DevEx team oversees our customers developer journey from discovery to building at scale. We aim to provide an onboarding experience which is intuitive and organized, that developers can discover product details, learn implementation specifics, and develop independently. As an Engineering Manager, you'll be a technical leader and people manager, responsible for guiding the team to technical decisions for production services, helping prioritize and organize the team's work, and providing career growth and mentorship opportunities to your team.

Your Responsibilities
- Establish the DevEx practice with a vision aligned to organizational goals.
- Develop strategic initiatives to enhance the overall developer experience, to support business objectives and drive technological innovation.
- Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for DevEx and track the impact on developer satisfaction and productivity.
- Implement tools and systems necessary for the development and continuous improvement of the DevEx practice.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to lead engineers.

This is a leadership role that will report to the Director, Cloud Platform. You will have 5 direct reports and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Manager, Cloud Platform, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.
Right now, our associates in Scottsdale, AZ are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtually from your home office the remaining days. We provide flexibility and encourage ongoing communication with your leadership to establish expectations about your unique needs.
