Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and other structures.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues that require attention.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including the use of an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting.
- Handle plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing fixtures.
- Execute minor electrical repairs, including replacing outlets and light fixtures.
- Assist with painting, drywall repairs, and flooring installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Must be able to speak and write in English.
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing systems, and general maintenance practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for transportation to job sites.
