Part-Time Super
Location: Upper East Side, New York, NY
Job Description:
We are seeking a Part-Time Super (5h/week) to join our team in New York, NY. The Part-Time Super will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the building, including common areas, elevators, and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in building maintenance, be able to work independently, and have excellent communication skills.
- 5h/week
- Days: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evening
Responsibilities:
- Taking care of the garbage
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, elevators, and lobbies
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and unclogging drains
- Monitor and maintain mechanical systems, such as heating and cooling systems
- Respond to tenant requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with outside contractors for repairs and maintenance
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
Requirements:
- Experience in building maintenance or related field
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb stairs
