Lab Technician for Toxicology Laboratory
Overview
A busy clinical toxicology laboratory is seeking an individual with strong attention to detail, a background in chemistry or biology who can learn to operate an Immunoassay analyzer as well as possess skills to perform sample preparation for LCMS. It's an exciting time to join our team with plenty of room for advancement with hands-on opportunity to learn LC-MS/MS (based on education). Laboratory experience preferred but not required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or physical science.
Job Duties:
- Data entry of urine drug test requisitions.
- Accessioning and preparing urine samples for analysis on IA and LCMS.
- Operating immunoassay analyzer
- Basic knowledge of laboratory Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and principles, ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and fill out required logs/forms on a routine basis.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4 pm
Compensation commensurate with education / experience.
