What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper/Day Porter position at Choice Properties?
Chandler Crossings has a great career opportunity for a skilled, dedicated Groundskeeper/Day Porter.
Responsibilities include:
- Groundskeeping of community common areas - ensuring the property is always free of trash and debris inside and out.
- Ensuring all trash cans are emptied and new trash bags inserted
- Assisting with Spring and Fall Clean Up
- clean common area hallways weekly
- inspecting the office and clubhouse and cleaning as needed
- Helping trash out units if needed
- Plant Flowers and Install Mulch
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE PREVIOUS GROUNDSKEEPING OR DAY PORTER EXPERIENCE
- Skilled in grounds work, common area maintenance, painting
- Highly motivated – self starter
- 40 Hours per week
- Must have reliable transportation, truck preferred
- Must live within a 30 minute drive of East Lansing

- A clear driving record, clear drug and physical check and clear criminal background check.
