Position Overview:
Assists with providing clinical leadership, administrative supervision, training and mentoring to assigned Behavioral Health Technicians/Therapists and/or Peers on assigned team. Ensures clinical quality, timely documentation and productivity standards are met or exceeded by direct reports. Ensures that assessments and individual service/recovery plans are developed and implemented for each patient on their team. Actively contributes to a healthy workforce environment with modeling and setting the tone alongside clinical leadership team.
Summary of responsibilities:
Provides and documents clinical and administrative supervision, consultation, and mentoring of daily clinical operations for direct reports ensuring that the needs of participants are being met and that services are delivered as outlined in each participant’s assessment and Individual Service/Recovery Plan.
Monitors and evaluates clinical staff overall performance.
Assists with development of clinical programs, clinical electronic medical record development and ongoing additional level of care development
Assists with training, onboarding, interviewing and staff development
Provides clinical oversight of services provided, assessments conducted, and individual service/recovery plans developed for each patient assigned to the team.
Functions as the Substance Abuse Specialist for the team; provides assistance to other team members in these areas; serves as the subject matter expert regarding co-occurring substance abuse disorders and for the team.
Monitors productivity of staff ensuring that the appropriate array and amount of services are provided to patients. Ensures direct reports are documenting service provision as needed and daily billing in the Electronic Health Record system (EHR)
Monitor for quality outcomes, program development and utilization review of patient charts.
Ensures that direct reports are providing coordination of care to internal and external provider agencies, state entities or other stakeholders (e.g. probation officers, advocates, family member, hospital staff, vocational rehabilitation, etc.) as needed.
Brings attention to any unmet service needs identified by line staff in the treatment planning process and assists line staff in identifying interim services available to meet consumer needs.
Available on-call 24 hours/day, 7 days/week unless otherwise scheduled as part of a rotation or in event of a scheduled absence in which coverage has been arranged.
Pursues best practice outcomes for people with co-occurring needs including continuing education, employment, independent housing and community tenure.
Conducts group, individual and family treatment to assigned caseload in Behavioral Health Outpatient Treatment Center.
Supports development and opening of additional clinical offices
Follows and supports CRP policies, procedures and protocols
Maintains and follows punctuality and attendance as set on the schedule
Integral part of multidisciplinary clinical team
Participates in daily clinical operations and supervision
Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements/ Qualifications:
This position requires the employee meets the criteria to be credentialed and privileged to conduct assessments as a qualified assessor. This is a supervisory position requiring more education and experience therefore, a person must have one of the following combinations of education, license and behavioral health work experience:
Master’s degree in a behavioral health related field.
An Independent Professional license is required (LPCC or LCSW) In addition if employee is a licensed behavioral health professional; he/she must also be credentialed and privileged before conducting assessments. Current Board approved supervisor.
Specialized knowledge of co-occurring substance abuse disorder assessment and treatment
Current and valid NM Driver License with an acceptable driving record (as defined in the guidelines)
