We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws and collecting specimens from patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role is vital in supporting laboratory testing and patient care within a hospital or clinical setting.

Duties

• Perform blood sampling and specimen collection from patients following established protocols.
• Ensure proper labeling, processing, and handling of specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and collection procedures.
• Monitor and document vital signs as needed prior to specimen collection.
• Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures to patients and addressing any concerns.
• Adhere to safety regulations and infection control standards during all procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient management.
• Stay updated on laboratory procedures and medical terminology relevant to phlebotomy.

Skills

• Proficient in specimen collection processing techniques.
• Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Experience in patient care with a focus on comfort and safety during procedures.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy techniques accurately and efficiently.
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to blood sampling.

Pay: $13.59 - $14.33 per hour
