ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Models lessons in classrooms on daily or weekly basis determined by need.
• Support the instructional development of all teachers by utilizing the curriculum, resources, assessments, and data analysis.
• Has an ability to create strong relationships with peers, administrators, and students through open communication, intentional feedback, and follow through.
• Creates guided lesson plans, professional development, and productive coaching sessions.
• Other duties as assigned by school leader.

INCLUDE:

• Current Michigan Teaching Certificate. Additional endorsements preferred.
• Demonstrated competence as a teacher in all areas of focus.
• Exhibited a strong mastery of curriculum and supplemental resources in the classroom.
• Background and/or passion in incorporating behavior management skills in all subjects.
• Able to use technology as an instructional tool in the classroom, as a means of analyzing academic achievement data, and as a tool to aid effective communications.
• Respected in the community and able to create partnerships.
• Excellent verbal and written expression using proper grammar and vocabulary.
• Exemplary work habits verified by previous employers.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge and skills working with students, peers, and administration successfully.
