Job Summary
We seek a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operators - Reach Truck Operator - Turret Operators with experience in all machines to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will operate various types of forklifts, including cherry pickers, reach truck, turret to efficiently move materials throughout our distribution center. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and materials handling processes to ensure smooth operations.
Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:30 pm!
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently, including cherry pickers and cranes.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical integrity and report any issues promptly.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed, supporting team members in the movement of bulky items.
- Bilingual is a plus!!
Experience
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- MUST BE A CERTIFIED MACHINE OPERATOR TO APPLY!
- HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ALL MACHINES
- WILLING TO PASS A BACKGROUND & DRUG TEST!
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and materials handling processes is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues effectively.
- Experience working under the supervision of warehouse supervisors to meet operational goals.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely, demonstrating physical fitness for the role.
