Job Overview: Choice Towing is seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Operate a tow truck to safely transport vehicles, including cars, vans, and small trucks, to designated locations.
- Load and unload vehicles onto the truck using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Secure vehicles properly to ensure safe transportation.
- Follow established routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tow truck and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting stranded motorists and ensuring their vehicles are safely transported.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and other logistics.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and legal operation of the tow truck.
- Handle any emergencies or unexpected situations in a calm and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle towing techniques, equipment, and safety procedures or the ability and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform the duties of the job effectively.
