CHOICES is looking for a Foster Care Manager who is interested in overseeing and developing the Foster Care department, which also includes recruitment, and licensing and training. This role works to develop, plan and implement strategies for department continuation and growth in alignment with long range goals of the agency. This person provides supervision and training to foster care team leads. The Foster Care Manager is also part of a culture driven management team and is expected to maintain a professional level of administration by attending designated meetings, working collaboratively with other staff members as needed, and demonstrating support for agency initiatives. The Foster Care Manager also will develop and maintain relationships with county children services partners and CHOICES foster parents.
Job Responsibilities (including, but are not limited to)
· Conduct regular, monthly department meetings with staff to discuss program goals, outcomes and plans for staff development
· Conducts monthly utilization chart reviews
· Maintain budget census.
· Schedule and facilitate various training courses, including CPR & First Aid and monthly skills and refresher trainings.
· Provide support to staff – on-call 24/7/365
· Meet with foster parents and facilitate monthly Foster Parent Support Meetings.
· Participate in agency and community meetings; develop and maintain relationships with resource providers and referring agency staff.
· Develop and maintain community resources for the program and remain abreast of current resources available.
Job Requirements:
· Licensed Social Worker or Licensed social worker eligible
· Master’s Degree Preferred
· 5 years of experience in social services
· 3-5 years of leadership experience
· Knowledge in crisis intervention, child and adolescent development and community services plus separation and loss issues for children, families and caregivers
· Complete Assessor training within specified time frames and maintain Assessor status
· Must have a valid driver’s license

Conditions of Employment:
· Ability to pass a Federal and State Fingerprinting Background Check both prior to employment and per the schedule outlined by HR thereafter.
· Ability to pass a child protective services check with the previous State(s) of U.S. residence for the last five years.

Pay: $62,500.00 - $67,500.00 per year
