CHOICES is looking for an Intensive Home-Based Therapy (IHBT) Supervisor for a newly established program. The IHBT Supervisor will supervise IHBT Clinicians and QMHS support staff. The program services include Mental Health / Diagnostic Assessment, Counseling (individual, family and group), In-Home and other community-based services. Such services are delivered to the client’s home, schools and other community settings. May provide direct clinical services to a small client caseload.
Job Responsibilities (including, but are not limited to)
· Assists Home-Based Manager in providing direction and oversight of all program functions Conducts monthly utilization chart reviews
· Provides IHBT services in the event of a vacancy in the IHBT program until a new clinician or QMHS may be hired.
· Assists Home-Based Manager in the hiring and evaluating of IHBT staff (clinicians and QMHS’s), utilizing consistent hiring protocols, supervision and evaluation tools and methods. Works in conjunction with the training department to ensure staff receive appropriate orientation and on-going training.
· Collaborates with program supervisors/managers/directors of other program areas to assure appropriate provision of services and support for youth and families.
· Assists Home-Based Manager in implementation of consistent on-call protocol for IHBT program.
· Active in the Continuous Quality Improvement process, including quarterly record reviews and outcomes projects. Evaluates program services to determine ways to improve services. Assists Home-Based Manager in the development, implementation and monitoring of annual short-term program goals. Works with Home-Based Manager and Quality Improvement to monitor and improve services in accordance with ODMH, ODJFS, COA, IHBT, FCCS and UMCH/CHOICES policies and procedures. Reviews and signs IHBT-related Critical Incident Reports.
Job Requirements:
· Graduate degree in the human services field. Must be licensed as an independent practitioner in the State of Ohio (LISW, LPCC).
· Must have two (2) years post-graduate experience in working with families and children in a community-based setting and two (2) years in an administrative/supervisory capacity providing direct clinical supervision to licensed staff preferred.
· Experience with out-patient and/or in-home mental health services a plus.
· Experience in multiple systems - child welfare, mental health, MRDD and juvenile justice - a plus.
· Must have a valid driver’s license

Conditions of Employment:
· Ability to pass a Federal and State Fingerprinting Background Check both prior to employment and per the schedule outlined by HR thereafter.
