What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Supervisor/Addiction Counselor position at Choices Recovery Services?
We are seeking a Certified Chemical Dependency Assessment Counselor to join our team!-
You will be responsible for completing treatment needs assessments for clients -identifying the appropriate level of care for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Determine level of care and recommendations for clients.
- Prepare reports and letters for relevant parties.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in counseling, social work, or other related fields
- Experience in conflict resolution
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have understand/experience with clinical documentation And ASAM.
Knowledge/experience in the following:
- social, behavioral, psychological, and physical effects of chemical dependency.
Ability to:
- identify symptoms of alcohol and/or drug abuse
- gather, interpret, and use information relating to client’s care
- establish and maintain effective client relationships to ensure quality of care while in services.
- identify clients’ needs and determine appropriate recommendations for clients
- conduct treatment needs assessments.
- manage time effectively and prioritize workload accordingly
Certified Addictions Counselor- Required/Preferred
Pay depends on experience and certification.
This is a full time position 32-40 hours a week, involving one evening a week.
Must have be a Certified Addiction Counselor. Willing to consider Addiction Counselor Trainee status.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
